DPM – Dynamic PM – Managing Agile and Scrum Projects
Overview
The traditional plan-driven approach for project management sometimes fails for some project types, such as innovation projects or software development projects. These project types work in uncertain or constantly changing environment due to unknown technologies and changing or emerging requirements. Dynamic project Management and Scrum techniques embrace change and bring customers competitive advantage by reducing the time needed for development activities. The project life cycle gets broken down into several iterations. At the end of each iteration the team delivers the system or development task increment and the customer can evaluate the outcome and plan the next iteration. Early and constant feedback allows for a close alignment to business needs and produces the results that are really needed, even if they were not specified right at the start.
A comprehensive overview of Scrum methods and tools will be given during this course and are included in the training materials as take-away for the training participants.
Who should attend?
Both new project managers and experienced project managers who wish to refresh their skills or develop an understanding of dynamic project management processes and Scrum techniques. You will gain an understanding of the strategies and skills necessary to manage projects of any size.
